Hello readers of all ages
Lovely to meet you! If you are reading this, you are probably interested in purchasing my books, or you already have, and you’d like to know a bit more about the person behind the books.
So, instead of giving you an “official” but typically boring bio, let’s have a chat with a cup of tea or coffee, your choice.
You don’t have one now? Go ahead and make one. I’ll wait here for you.
Once I learnt to read, I couldn’t get my hands on enough books, and every birthday and Christmas, I received many books from my family, aunties and friends.
Like many of you, I have been a real bookworm since I was a little boy, and after discovering the joys of “The Secret Seven” by Enid Blyton, I became a prolific reader who would read anything except romance. Even to the extent of climbing to the top of the pantry while my parents were out so I could read the enormous medical book hidden up there.
I am from Western Australia, a true-blue Sandgroper, third-generation Australian, born in Bunbury.
I have travelled this vast land with my wife Chris and our trusty Avan, including three times to the Gold Coast to see our kids and enjoy time with grandchildren as they grow up.
We have been volunteer hosts in National Parks all over Western Australia, from Mt Augustus in the outback to Penguin Island off the coast at Rockingham.
